Pray for Darby & Mom Amber
Hello everyone. I received an email today from someone who I made a baby door sign for on Friday. Sweet baby Darby was born at 29 weeks, weighing only 2lbs, 4oz. Everything seemed to be fine on Friday, but now Darby’s mother is in ICU. Please read the below email about Darby and her Mommy and please keep them both in your prayers. Leave a comment and let us know if you are praying for them. I’ll pass on the kind words. This is a very sweet family.
“Holly, Thank you again for making the door sign for my niece at such short notice. Everyone adored it! Nurses were wanting to know where I got it. Unfortunately, it only got to hang on her door for a few short hours. After Kaitlin and I met you, we went straight back to the hospital and was faced with bad news. My niece, Amber, was very sick. Her blood pressure had dropped extremely low and we were told that she had a blood clot. Within an hour, they were removing the blood clot and then her kidneys started shutting down. She was rushed to ICU. I truly thought we were going to lose her. At about 3:00a.m., her blood pressure had gotten stabilized and we were given some hope. She is still in ICU and is doing better. Every improvement is great hope for us. Baby Darby is still fighting as well. Please include Amber and Darby in your daily prayers. Our prayers were answered early Saturday morning when Amber showed some improvement. Thank you again for your kindness and prayers.”
With Much Appreciation,

1st Birthday Party {Part 1}
I am so excited! Here are the pictures from our little one’s first birthday party! This will have to be broken up into several blog posts, so this is the first of a couple. We’ll start from the outside and work our way inside. The theme for the party was cupcakes and of course, pink, pink and pink!
Outside, we made a large cupcake out of wood. I painted and glittered it to match the invitations.

I bought some tiny buckets at Michael’s craft store after Christmas and spray painted them pink. My sister-in-law made the pink vinyl polka dots that I stuck on the buckets… much faster and easier than painting dots! We filled the buckets with pink carnations. They lined our sidewalk to the front door.

For Karidyn’s high chair, I made a tulle tutu for the front. Personalized plates available here.
I made the hat to match… and she actually wore it!
Too busy eating cake to realize it was on her head!
Those are all the pictures for today, sorry for not showing the cakes, cupcakes and food spread! Make sure you come back this week so you can see what’s inside!
Hope you have a great day!

A Good Secret and a Winner!
We know a good secret when we hear one! Last week we got an email from one of our customers asking about a Big Brother shirt. Oh boy, were we excited! She is expecting and to make the announcement she had us make her little boy a big brother shirt! We love it when we get to make personalized items for moms who are using our products as a way to reveal a pregnancy or keeping the baby’s name a secret until the baby is born! Usually we are making a hospital door sign for the mom or other personalized items, but we haven’t had the chance to do a big brother shirt yet… so here is how it turned out:
{We changed the little boy’s name just in case the secret is not out yet!}

{this is the image on the shirt}

Contact us if you are interested in purchasing a big brother or big sister shirt. We’ll be putting them on our website soon. Personalized shirts are $16 for sizes up to 18m and $18 for sizes 2-6 boys and sizes 2-8 girls.
And… we have a winner for our Gussy Giveaway!

CONGRATULATIONS… Raechel @ Finding My Feet! We are so happy for you! I just went to her blog and spent forever reading about her precious family.

Yippee! We had so much fun with our Gussy Giveaway!
Hope you have a great day!

Welcome Baby with a Door Sign
Where have we been the past few days?! The 102.8 degree temperature hit our little one again on Tuesday, so after a doctor trip for her, I had my own trip to the doctor the next day! I have learned it’s virtually impossible to stay well when you have a sick baby. Now, we are all feeling much better and on our feet again!
Are you ever looking for a creative, personalized gift for a new baby? Take a look at our New Baby Hospital Door Signs. The signs can be personalized with the child’s name and initial. These signs are a hit at baby showers and in the hospital. I’ve had numerous new moms tell me they had people knocking on their hospital door asking where they got the sign. It even happened to me when I was in the hospital delivering our baby!
Here’s the one for our little girl. It now hangs on her bedroom door.

The fonts and colors can be changed on the signs so they can match the nursery decor!

When the baby is born, the new parents write in the birth details with a permanent marker or paint pen!
Our Baby Door Signs are available HERE! If you don’t see a design you like, but there’s a design you like on another of our personalized items, we can create a sign just for you!
Hope you have a great day!
