Monthly Archives: July 2011
We are excited to be participating in a contest to help us win a grant for our business. We could win a monthly $25,000 grant or even a grand prize $50,000 grant with your help. All you have to do is VOTE for us! Thank you to everyone who has voted for us so far! We have been blessed to be an organic business over the five years we have been in business (yes, we are just about to celebrate our 5 year anniversary!) and this grant could help our business grow even more!
This week, we are WORKING WORKING WORKING on making the final additions and updates to our new website! Can’t wait to have the grand opening party! Believe me, I’ll want to celebrate!
We have updated our “About Us” page for our blog! Check it out here!
Hope you have a great day!
I’ll be the first to admit that once I gave birth just two years ago I feel like I lost about 50% of my brain. (Hopefully you can relate and I’m not the only one!) I don’t know what it is, but the planner, organizer and clear thinker part of me disappeared as soon as I became a Mom. Maybe it really isn’t the case, maybe it is the fact that I have to always have most of my attention on my little one that I have to divide up the rest of my attention on my home, work, etc, etc and it all doesn’t get equal treatment. (Tell that to the
three four (let’s be honest ) loads of laundry in a pile on my bed right now. It’s my goal to have them folded and put away before I get in the bed tonight! You may remember a previous post with a free printable schedule, but I have to say, even with a plan like that, sometimes I do good to get 2 things done on it. I recently came across this inspiring girl. I found out about her through a class I’ll be taking in August (super excited about it and I’ll tell you more in the near future) that she’ll be co-leading and I just have been blown away by her wisdom and her amazing way of motivation. Among her many talents and obligations is a program that she leads called “Making Things Happen”. She also has a blog, where she posts motivational thoughts ideas, etc. I just jumped on board to participate in “The Challenge”, a “back to basics” way of getting organized, gaining vision and accomplishing goals in a step by step process. I strongly encourage you to follow along and see the progress you make. I’ve been working on it for about three days and it has been such a game-changer for me. Lately, I have to say, I feel like I’ve been burning the candle at both ends with hardly anything to show for it. Let’s make a commitment together to work to better ourselves for our spouse, children, others and for ourselves. Will you join me?
Good news… our website is well on its way to being up sometime this month… yes, I said THIS MONTH as in JULY 2011! We have worked TIRELESSLY on the website and although it won’t have its full functionality just yet, it will be up with a TON of our new products. We’ll keep you updated and let you know just as soon as we set the launch date!
Just a side note- the tornado relief t-shirts are on sale now while they last for $7.50 and 9.99. You can purchase them on our website. They are available in CHILDREN and ADULT sizes.
Thank you for following along with my silly thought process today! Hope you have a great week… now on to that laundry!
