Just a little note… We will not be accepting any new custom design or logo design orders beginning today until May 1. We are working on organizing our designs to upload to our website/facebook/blog. You will be seeing them soon! This will only make it much easier for you to find what you need on our website. You can still continue to place orders on our website during this time.
Thank you! We love our customers!
I’m on day two of this “early to bed… early to rise” thing and it’s not as easy to me as staying up late. Hopefully, it’s like exercise and I’ll eventually start liking it (hopefully). I think it is mainly because I am not sleeping well from 10:30-2:00 am because my body is telling me I should be awake and I constantly toss and turn and wake up. This morning I keep thinking about my nice warm bed that I chose to get out of at 5:30 (what was I thinking!) Ha! Anyway, there’s lots to be done today! Most of the remaining Cottontail’s Village orders will go out today, so I’ve got some packaging to do! Hope you have a great St. Patrick’s Day and don’t forget your LIME green (it’s much cuter!).
I’ve turned over a new leaf and I’m so excited! Today I woke up 2-3 hours earlier than usual because I went to bed 2-3 hours earlier! Lately, I’ve been calling bedtime 1:30 or 2:00 am. Last night it was 11:00pm and although, according to a friend, “10:30 is not early”, it is for me and boy, I’ve been getting a lot done this morning. I’m reorganizing my time- restructuring, so hopefully, I’ll be even more productive. For those of you who don’t know, HollyDays operates out of our home and it seems our lights are always on. I’ve had many friends/relatives say “I don’t know how you do it all” that is because they are speaking of the high-energy, fast-paced 22 1/2 month old we have at our house. Well, the only way I can get anything done is called “NAPTIME” and “BEDTIME”, as I’m sure those are terms many of you know and love! Usually after 7:30pm, I can get the majority of my part of the work done. (Jennifer works days, so I guess I’m the 2nd/3rd shift!) I’ve really been thinking lately after being so tired at night, working until I can’t handle anymore, stumbling in the dark to bed as I run into toys left on the floor as I’m thinking, “this is really not cool, I need to do something about this”. My husband tries to stay up as long as he can so he is not going to bed early and I am the one having to stay up late, but he does have a real job and my job doesn’t need to make him tired! So, this morning, I woke up early! Yes, I stumbled in the dark a little, but at least it was in the other direction: getting up ready to start the day fresh sitting at my computer, talking to you, working on proofs and catching up on orders. Yes, I feel that is something to be proud of! I hope you have a great day!
